1) How does the author define Metrosexual? How does the author relate the term to a larger argument?
"A straight man who styles his hair with 3 different products, loves clothes and the very act of shopping for them, and describes himself as sensitive and romantic"
She relates the term to say that there are too many metrosexual men.
2) What is at stake in the definition of the term? How does the author make this clear?
What is at stake with the definition is what is considered gay or not. The author makes it clear that it is now hard to distinguish who is a homosexual and a metrosexual. She says that being metrosexual take away from your man hood and quotes "so where have all the cowboys gone"
3) Note one other means of persuasion that you found particularly effective in the article. What about the audience does this means rely on.
A good mean of persuasion is when she tries to prove that women aren’t really attracted to a feminine guy like that. She says that, regarding how to impress a female that men are trying too hard by focusing on looking there best, in reality that’s not what women are looking for. It may act on a male audience by showing them they don’t have do get all dressed up and make sure everything’s perfect, and to a female audience that they should look for perfection but more or a stereotypical man.
